The Ebert's
We're excited to be building our second home, this time we're building what we call our "Dream House".

If you've ever built a house, you know that it's exciting, but is also a headache. As a friend from work said, "You should build two houses. Live in the first one for a few years, then build the house that you'll retire in." Well, this is exactly what we're doing. We built our first house in July, '96 and have had seven happy and productive years here. From time to time we'll say, "Sure wish we had...". Well, now our wishes will come true!

We're building a smaller house than we currently have, but it's laid out much better for our liking. We'll have a large living room with hard wood floors, big kitchen/eating area with ceramic tile. The ceramic tile will wrap from the front door, through the kitchen and eating bar, all the way to the back door, outlining the living room. We'll have three bedrooms that will be carpeted with an office that is entered from the master bedroom. Upstairs will be a billiard room with hard wood floors and rustic decor. A covered porch outlined with 6" stained columns and railing will wrap around three sides of the house including the front door and back door.

Anyone that knows me knows that I must have plenty of room for my toys. Out back will be a 1200 sq.ft. shop. It will be plumbed and insulated so I can have year around entertainment "playing" with the T-Bucket and F100. Dylan is already making plans to learn how to weld while building his own go-cart.
